Selection Procedure for Aditya Birla Scholarship 2025

• Initial Evaluation:
  • 180 management, 160 engineering, and 100 law students are assessed based on their application details, academic achievements, and co-curricular activities.
• Essay Review:
  • Essays submitted by selected students are reviewed by a panel to shortlist candidates for the final round.
• Final Interview Round:
  • Shortlisted students undergo an interview conducted by eminent academicians and luminaries.
  • 16 scholars each from engineering and management, and 15 from law are selected.
• Interview Details:
  • Held in Mumbai; shortlisted students receive accommodation, travel reimbursement, and a token allowance.
  • Candidates must carry supporting documents (certificates, mark sheets, etc.).
• Scholarship Renewal & Administration:
  • The performance of scholars is monitored annually for renewal.
  • Scholarship funds are transferred directly to the institute’s designated bank account.
  • Institutes (IIMs, XLRI, IITs, BITS Pilani, and law campuses) manage the scholarship disbursal.
  • Institutes will refund fees already paid, as scholarships are announced in September.

Assessment Criteria for Renewal of the Aditya Birla Scholarship

• Academic Performance – Must be in the top 25% of the batch.
• Coursework Performance – At least 60% of assignments should have a rating of 7/9.
• Campus Participation – Must participate in at least two forums on campus.
• Experience Sharing – Submit a 250-word write-up on “Being an Aditya Birla Scholar.”
• Certification – Performance data must be submitted by the scholar and certified by the Academic Dean.
• Holistic Evaluation – The assessment will be based on overall performance, with no single factor being a major determinant.
