    International Spell Bee Competition

    International Spell Bee Competition: This competition aims to improve students’ spelling and vocabulary skills.

    • Exam Dates:
      • 31st March 2025
      • 15th April 2025 
    • Time: The exam will be available for 24 hours on 31st March and 15th April  (whichever date the student opts), students can start anytime between those 24 hours, but once started exam will end in its prescribed time limit of 1 hr.
    • Duration: 60 Minutes
      • The exam consists of two sections:
      • 1. Section-1: Spell Bee 
      • 2. Section-2: Audio Round

    Eligibility Criteria for JNVST

    Navodaya Vidyalaya Class 6 Eligibility Criteria 2024-25

    General Eligibility

    • Residence: Candidate must reside in the district where Navodaya Vidyalaya is established.
    • Educational Qualification:
      • Must be in Class 5 in a government or recognized school during 2024–2025.
      • NIOS candidates must complete the ‘B’ certificate course by September 15, 2024.
      • Must be promoted to Class 5 on or before July 31, 2024.
    • Attempt Limit: Candidates who have appeared for JNVST before cannot apply again.

    Eligibility for Rural Candidates

    • Must have completed Class 3, 4, and 5 from a Government/Government Aided/Recognized school in a rural area.
    • Must be studying Class 5 in the same district where the Navodaya Vidyalaya is located.
    • NIOS students need a rural status certificate from the District Magistrate/Tehsildar/BDO.
    • 75% of seats are reserved for rural candidates, the remaining for urban candidates.

    Eligibility for Urban Candidates

    • If a candidate attended Class 3, 4, or 5 in an urban school for even one day, they are considered urban candidates.

    Eligibility for Transgender Candidates

    • No separate reservations for transgender candidates.
    • Included under the Boys category, classified under Rural, Urban, SC, ST, and Divyang as applicable.

    Age Limit for JNVST

    Born between May 1, 2013, and July 31, 2015 (both dates included). There is no age relaxation for any category.

    • Proof of Date of Birth (medical board verification if any doubt arises).
    • Proof of Eligibility (as per JNV conditions).
    • Rural Quota Certificate (for rural quota candidates, proof of studying in a rural institution).
    • Any Other Required Documents (as specified by JNV).
